Version playlist-review-2026-10-15-v3 · One thoughtful review. No promised placement.
HYMN-curated playlist reviews cost ₹50 for an eligible track selected from your own HYMN distribution catalogue (live, approved, under review or in distribution), or ₹80 for an external track. Ownership and eligible release status are checked on the server; a typed title or link alone does not qualify for the catalogue rate. Independent curators retain their displayed custom fee for either track source. The exact total is shown before payment. Existing checkout orders retain their original amount. Your selected HYMN release and track IDs are retained in the checkout audit trail for fulfilment and support.
The fee displayed before checkout purchases personal listening, written feedback, and an actionable next step. It does not purchase selection, ranking, a duration on a playlist, streams, followers, royalties, or guaranteed results. No recurring charge applies. A shortlist is editorial consideration, not a placement promise. Paid placement auctions and artificial streaming are prohibited.
For a live song with a listening link, the response deadline is seven calendar days after verified payment. For an unreleased HYMN song, payment reserves the review; the seven-day clock starts only when the release is live and its Spotify track link is ready—not after playlist placement. Waiting reservations can be cancelled for a full refund before review starts and expire after 90 days. A curator may shortlist your song or explain why it is not a fit. A timely, substantive review is chargeable in either case. Missed deadlines are eligible for an automatic full refund; refund processing runs periodically and bank posting times vary. Do not pay twice if browser verification is interrupted: HYMN reconciles recorded orders.
Independent curators are third parties, not HYMN employees or representatives. Ownership review is not an endorsement of audience quality or outcomes. Listen to each playlist, check its activity and suitability, and research its curator before submitting. HYMN does not guarantee third-party conduct, listener authenticity, editorial choices, uninterrupted availability, or commercial results. These disclosures do not exclude duties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. HYMN remains responsible for its own services and provides payment and dispute support.
Curators must personally listen, give a specific observation about the recording or playlist fit, and suggest a practical next step. They must not use insults, discrimination, intimidation, fabricated listening claims, or copy-and-paste non-feedback. Artists are entitled to respectful treatment, not a favourable opinion. No curator may ask for additional payment, gifts, or services in exchange for playlist placement.
Submit only music you own or are authorised to represent. Your track link, artist name, pitch, and submission details are shared with the assigned curator and HYMN reviewers for fulfilment and support, not sold as audience data. Do not include passwords, confidential documents, or third-party personal information in pitches. Existing HYMN privacy terms also apply. Spotify links open an external service governed by its own terms.
Curators declare ownership or control and provide a public playlist link, audience description, fee, and review capacity. Listings require HYMN approval and may be paused or removed for abuse, misleading claims, missed deadlines, or policy breaches. Ownership must be verified by HYMN; self-declaration alone is not verification. A paused listing stops new submissions without cancelling existing obligations. Prices are snapshotted at checkout.
Use My submissions to raise a concern before completion or within seven days of a delivered review. HYMN may request evidence, freeze settlement, uphold a substantive review, or refund non-delivery or abusive/fabricated feedback. Disagreement with a good-faith editorial opinion alone is not a refund guarantee. Contact support if the in-app period has closed; mandatory rights remain unaffected. Independent-curator fees are held for seven days after delivery and paid through a verified, manually administered settlement process. A status in HYMN is not proof of bank receipt; actual settlement requires a bank/provider reference. No marketplace commission applies at launch.
Any playlist inclusion is voluntary and independent of the review fee. There is no purchased placement period or obligation to add a song. Curators may change their playlists editorially. HYMN prohibits bots, manipulated streams, guaranteed-placement claims, and attempts to buy favourable feedback. Report suspicious activity immediately.
